On June 16th, the press conference of The 6th China Children's Theatre Festival was held in the art gallery of China National Theatre for Children. The president of CNTC Mr. Yin Xiaodong, the deputy director general, Department of Arts, Ministry of culture Mr. Lv Yuzhong, the director of Drama Arts, Ministry of culture Mr. Lin lin, Deputy director of Dongcheng District Beijing Cultural Committee Mr. Qi Jiayong, Deputy director of Beijing Huairou District Mr. Wang Guanheng attended the press conference. The vice president of CNTC Mr. Shan Zenghong hosted it.

At the meeting, firstly a video about the festival is played. After that, President Yin gave a brief introduction of the preparation. Mr. Lv affirmed the efforts and achievements of last five festivals and at the same time, expressed his expectation of the 6th China Children’s Theatre Festival. He hoped that CNTC can expand the influence of the 6th China Children’s Theatre Festival, build a platform for international children’s drama display. Mr. Qi and Mr. Wang also made speeches.

The 6th China Children's Theatre Festival will be held during July 8th to August 25th. It will last 49 days, covering outstanding drama performances, communications and Carnival activities from America, Romania, Lithuania, Japan, South Korea, Spain, Australia and China's Taiwan region and other eight countries and regions. There will be 46 outstanding dramas performing 215 times, benefiting 160 thousand people. And there will be setting up venue in Jinan, Chengdu and Ningbo province.

At the end of the press conference, CNTC communicated with the press group. The first batch of public welfare tickets are presented to the minority and challenged group.
