Recommended by Ministry of Culture and invited by Bangkok China Culture Center, China National Theatre for Children made a debut in Bangkok Thailand at 3pm on October 25th with Journey to The West.

    There was a short opening ceremony before the show, held by Mrs. Lan Suhong, the director of Bangkok China Culture Center. During the ceremony, the former Prime Minister of Thailand & President of Thailand and China Friendship Association made a speech, as well as Mr. Chen Jiang,cultural attache of Chinese Embassy and Mr. Yin Xiaodong, President of China National Theatre for Children.After the ceremony, they watched the performance accompanied by the audiences from China and Thailand. 

    Thanks to tremendous support by Bangkok China Culture Center and Cultural Office of Chinese Embassy of Thailand, it is the first time that Journey to the West went out of the country and performed in Thailand. As President Yin Xiaodong said, he hopes this show with the mordern way of performing will be welcomed by the children in Thailand, and we also hope that this will be a good opportunity for us to bring more outstanding productions to the children of Thailand!
