CNTC Participated in the Opening Ceremony of China Cultural Center in Singapore

    Invited but the China Culture Center in Singapore (CCC in Singapore), the Manlan Flower Art School of China National Theatre for Children (CNTC) participated in the unveiling ceremony of the CCC in Singapore. As one of the cooperation projects between CNTC and CCC in Singapore, The Malan Flower Art Training School was established there.

    On October 10, Su Mingyang, the art teacher of CNTC first arrived at Nanyang Primary School and prepared the performance for the opening ceremony. There were totally four shows and 8 students from Nanyang Primary School, of different nationalities---Han Nationality, Malays, Asia-Indian and European, as well as a new migrant, would give a performance. It symbolized the integration and unity of different nationalities.

    On November 7, Chinese President Xi Jinping (L) and Singaporean Emeritus Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong inaugurate the China Cultural Center in Singapore.

    The CCC in Singapore is a 10-story project with total area of around 89,000 square meters. The sightseeing elevator and corridor are transparent, giving visitors a good view of the surroundings. Brand new facilities such as a theater, library, fitness center and training classrooms will give visitors a real Chinese atmosphere. At this significant occasion, all students trained by Mr. Su gave a wonderful performance of Three Character Classic. It was highly praised by local parents and students.

 

CCC in Singapore

 

    On December 5, Shan Zenghong, Vice-president of CNTC, visited the CCC in Singapore and met Ma Hongying, the director of CCC in Singapore, Zhangbin, the ambassadress of the Chinese Embassy in Singapore, Zhong Weifen, the principal of the Nanyang Primary School. He delivered a speech before students' performance and encouraged Mr. Su and all students there to make more high-class art shows.

    Aiming at popularizing the art training and spreading Chinese culture, the Malan Flower Art School will formally open next year. Let us expect Chinese stories and Chinese dramas to be prosperous in Singapore!
