On May 31st, China National Theatre for Children was overwhelmed with happiness and joy. The 60th anniversary ceremony of CNTC was held in the renovated theatre. Minister of Culture Mr. Luo Shugang, vice minister Mr. Dong Wei, art director Mr. Zhu Di, vice director Mr. Lv Yuzhong, leaders of China National Theatre for Children, all serving officers of CNTC, retired officers, teacher and student representatives from some schools, news media, over 500 people attended the ceremony. The anniversary ceremony was held by the party secretary Mr. Lei Xining.

China Federation of Literature General Office, China Dramatists Association, China Drama Association, The Central Academy Of Drama, Chinese Welfare Association, Tianjin Children's Art Troupe, President of the International Association of Children's Youth Theatre Mr. Yvette Harty, Executive Director of Missoula Children’s Theatre Mr. Michael McGill and 29 other companies, units and representative sent congratulatory letters and messages.

Mr. Luo Shugang delivered an important speech on the ceremony. He expressed his congratulations and approved CNTC’s achievement for the last 60 years. Mr. Yin Xiaodong also delivered a speech about CNTC’s history and achievement. He said we should embrace the future and aim high, further international communication and cooperation.

Famous artist representative Qin Kun, young artist representative Ma Yanwei spoke on the ceremony. Dali drew a beautiful painting and presented it to CNTC.

All leaders and stuffs of CNTC agree that children theatre career is noble, glorious and honored. We should stick to our belief and Mr. Xi Jinping’s speech about culture and art work. Hold our hands together and make more contribution to China children theatre career.

The 60th anniversary successfully finished in grand and joyful atmosphere.
