On July 16th, the opening ceremony of the 6th China Children’s Theatre Festival in Ningbo was held. This festival will last until August 3rd. Four outstanding children drama will be performed for 12 times. Executive vice minister Ms. Zhang Aiqin, vice president of CNTC Mr. Yin Xiaodong, CEO of Ningbo Broadcast Company Mr. Zhang Songcai, chairman of China Association of Performing Arts Mr. Zhu Kening, honorary vice president of China Association of Performing Arts Mr. Li Dashi, secretary general of Industry Association of Zhejiang Province Mr. Lv Longhua and other concerning leaders attended the opening ceremony and the first performance activity.

The general manager of Ningbo Grand Theatre Mr. Zheng Feng hosted the opening ceremony. Mr. Zhang Songcai made a speech and expressed appreciation and welcome on behalf of the organizing committee of parallel session in Ningbo. Mr. Yin Xiaodong made a speech and gave a brief introduction of China Children’s Theatre Festival. It’s the first time for Ningbo to hold the parallel session. Mr. Yin said: “Let us join hands to the "China children's Theatre Festival" to build a global vision, Chinese emotions, insight into the latest creation, grasp the trend of the market, focus on Chinese children's theater development of professional industry event and well-known brands.”

After the opening ceremony, leaders and guests, together with audiences watched The King in Moomin Valley. There will be many series activities in the following 19 days. Ningbo Grand Theatre decreases the ticket prices to benefit more children. Let these wonderful children drama help them spend a happy summer full of fairy tales and dreams.
