In July 31^st, the children's theater summer camp, which was held by China Children’s Theatre, ended successfully. This activity included reading books, experiencing theatres, watching theatres, getting close to actors, visiting art gallery and outing. More than 20 families joined in.

This is the theatre experiencing part of the theatre summer camp. Mr. Kang Chong, who majored in performance in Beijing Film Academy, taught the kids how to develop their ability of reaction, coordination and language expression by voice practice and imitation. This also helped the kids to learn about the training methods of basic skills of lines for actors. 

Besides, there was also reading activity that helped kids to gain more knowledge and feel the pleasure of reading and the charm of theatres.

Kids watched Romanian puppet theatre “Who Are You?” and Zhejiang Theatre company’s “Hua Mu Lan”. These theatres are good for kids and parents to watch together. They helped kids enrich their imagination and innovation. All audiences were attracted by them.

By getting closer to actors, kids had the chance to get to know more about theatre. The kids improved their creativity and imagination in laughter, as well as felt the charm of theatre stage.

At the very last was the outing part. Kids together with their parents went to Shengquan Mountain in Huairou District. During the outing, the communications were enhanced and helped them to build a harmonious relationship. 

In the end, we wish these kids will go further on the road of art and have a bright future.
