In the morning of August 18^th, vice president of China National Theatre for Children Ms. Feng Li came to the classroom of Malan Flower Performing Art School and talked with young actors of “Princess and Pea”. She also reviewed the highlights of the show. Vice president Ms. Feng Li praised these young actors’ excellent performance. About this communication trip to America, she said besides security, happiness is also very vital. She hopes that all of them will finish the show happily and grasp the chance to learn more from American friends.

Ten young actors are full of spirit and complete the last rehearsal before going to America. Through this training, they get deeper understanding of their roles and strengthen their friendship. Though three days are short, they put lots of effort in the training and created wonderful memories.

"Princess and Pea" is a story of the glacier country and the river country. Chinese young actors will play the roles of the river country. During the rehearsal, everyone listened to Mr. Yang Cheng the director’s analysis of roles. He speaks fluently English and makes quick switch among different roles, which helps a lot in line’s rehearsal.

Two fake princesses from the river country will not only play great roles of princess, but also perform “green angel” and “gardener”. The beautiful voice of the actor who plays the real princess echoed in the rehearsal room.

The actors are getting better with their performing skills which make us very proud of them. In the near future, they will get on stage and become the embodiment of cultural exchanges between China and America. They will help and build a bridge of friendship between CNTC and MCT. Theatre has become a world language and crossed cultural barriers. It is a successful example of China showing cultural confidence and going out.
