Hosted by China National Theatre for Children, the 4th China Children’s Theatre Festival held a grand opening ceremony on July 11th evening. The 4th festival will lasts 49 days from July 11th to August 28th, 2014, gathering about 44 excellent drama works from 23 art troupes domestic and abroad, with 219 shows and more than 15 drama activities , which will present the highest children’s drama feast for all the kids.

    Gu Xiulian, director of the Working Committee for Better Care for the Next Generation of China, Dongwei, Vice-Minister of Ministry of Culture, and leaders from China Women’s Federation, Ministry of Education,  China National Committee for the Wellbeing of the Youth, China Young Pioneers Committee, Chinese Dramatists Association, District Committee and Government of Dongcheng District and Huairou District together with some children’s drama experts, part of participating groups, school teachers and students, as well as nearly 600 audiences attended the opening ceremony, and watched the opening  drama show “Magic Boat”.

    Gu Xiulian, director of the Working Committee for Better Care for the Next Generation of China, declared the open of the Fourth Children's Theater Festival.  Yin Xiaodong, Chairman of The 4th  China Children’s Theatre Festival and  President of China National Theatre for Children delivered the opening speech.
