Invited by China National Theatre for Children and China Children’s Drama Society, Mr. Mocanu Octavian Calin, Director of Tandarica Animation Theatre of Bucharest and President of ASSITEJ Romania Children; together with MS. Mocanu Narcisa Angelica, President of European Cultural Centre for Education through Art and Culture and Member of Executive Board of ASSITEJ Romania to attend the New Year Children’s Drama Carnival in Beijing and visit some children’s theatre troupes in Jinan and Tianjin during the Spring Festival from February 16th to 26th,2015. During their stay in China, they watched some typical children’s dramas of China, communicated with some children’s drama organizations and institutes of China, as well as artists from children’s performing arts field, and had discussed the further exchanges and cooperation between China and Romania. After this meeting with Mr. Calin and Ms. Narcisa, China National Theatre for Children and China Children’s Drama Society had signed the cooperation letter of intent on children’s drama separately with Tandarica Animation Theatre and ASSITEJ Romania.

    And China and Romania also reached some immediate-term plans: China will invite one show of Tandarica Theatre come to attend the 5^th China Children’s Theatre Festival in July; China Children’s Drama Society will organize some artists from China to visit Romania and attend the 70^th Anniversary Exhibition Week in September; Romania will also invite one or more shows from China National Theatre for Children to attend the 11^th International Animation Festival in November…

    Based on the one step by step firm exchanging activities, China and Romania has build strong cooperation relationships and good friendship. We believe that children’s theatre in both China and Romania will have a bright future.
