The Children's Musical The Princess and the Pea cooperated by China National Theatre for Children and Missoula Children's Theatre from America premiered successfully in China Children's Art Theatre on August 8th, 2015. Leaders from Ministry of Culture of PRC, Mr. Max Baucus, the US Ambassador to China, Mr. Harvey W. Sernovitz, Director of Beijing American Center, Mrs Yvette Hardie, President of ASSITEJ watched the show.

Mr. Baucus loved the show very much, the children could speak very fluent English which was beyond his imagination. The story of the show also told us, that everyone can be friends, though each of them has his own opinion, which reminds me of the relationship of China and the US. I will let President Xi Jinping of China and President Barack Obama of the US know about my feelings about the show, I hope there will be any opportunity for them to watch it. This show has played a very important role in promoting the cultural exchange of the two countries, hope the children from China could come to Missoula, to my hometown to have shows there.
