On December 30, 2015, the China National Theater for Children (CNTC) and the Finland Svenska Theater signed a five-year strategic agreement.
In order to strengthen the communication and cooperation of children dramas between China and Finland, and upgrade the artistic creative level and performing level, President of CNTC, Mr. Yin Xiaodong and the President of Svenska Theater Mr.Johan Storgard, signed a five-year agreement. Mr. Yin said: “The King in Moomin Valley is a big success and a good beginning. Today we sign this agreement, aiming to fix our cooperation and pushing our long-term cooperation in exchange visit of selected dramas and artist communication. We hope the two sides could jointly produce children dramas in the near future. All we do will contribute to the development of friendship between the two countries and improve the children drama to a new level.”
This agreement confirmed that in five years, the two sides will conduct series of activities and exchange programs. The Counselor of Embassy of Finland in China Mr. Jani Raappana and the Vice President of CNTC Ms. Feng li and the director of Svenska Theater were presented.
2015 is the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Finland. The children drama of King in Moomin Valley co-produced by CNTC and the ACE-productions, which is affiliated to the Svenska Theatre, staged on December 30, 2015, which was given a warm welcome by Chinese Young audience.
